SPECIAL PICKUP of Flood Debris

The City of East Tawas is working with the Tawas Lake Association, on behalf of waterfront property owners, to collect flood-related vegetative debris . This refuse must be piled at one of these designated collection points at these specific, publicly owned, locations along the shoreline:
Rainbow Dr. / Jay St.: The City lot at the end of West Tawas Lake Rd.
Warren Ave.: 119 Warren Ave. ~ the end of N. Tawas Lake Rd. ~ and the end of Clifford St.
Maple Dr.: 246 Maple Dr. ~ and the lot at the end of Geller St.
Lakewood Dr.: 301 Lakewood Dr. ~ and 337 Lakewood Dr. (near Owosso Dr.)
The plant material will be picked up, at these locations, by the City on:
THURSDAY ~ MAY 7, 2026
REMEMBER – This special collection, by the City, is in addition to the two planned streetside municipal collections of aquatic plant material scheduled for Tuesday May 26 and Monday June 22.
